History of the company

In 1920, Charles and Axel Almkvist Johnson built the first petrochemical plant in Sweden.

While the company provides supplies of fuel for cars, whose number is constantly growing. There was also built a network of petrol stations. After the Second World War, the Swedish economy experienced a sharp rise and fueling Nynas have become commonplace in the country. In addition, roads in Sweden require a huge amount of bitumen. In the 1990s Nynas has expanded its area of ​​influence through the acquisition of a leading UK manufacturer of bitumen. In recent years, considerable resources have been invested in the plant in Ninaskhame, including a new hydrogen production, advanced laboratories and clean power.
